New label Avenoir Music Debuts with single from Yescene & StanLei

Spring 2025 marks the launch of Avenoir, a new label from Moroccan producers Zakem & Yescene, with a focus on deep, afro, and melodic house.

The debut release, Letters From Layla, sees Yescene team up with UK-based cellist, singer, and producer StanLei for a textured, cinematic take on electronic music—blending organic instrumentation with emotive vocals and detailed, atmospheric production.

Rooted in jazz, funk, and live performance, Yescene’s sound gives space to StanLei’s layered songwriting, drawing from her background in Bristol’s underground scenes and classical training. Remixes from Zakem and UK veteran D-Malice add percussive and stripped-down interpretations, alongside instrumental and ambient versions.

A thoughtful and expansive start from a label with international scope.
