The 4th annual Mondo.NYC, a global business summit and music festival, returns to New York this week, October 15-18. The gathering aims to foster discussion around the future of the music industry, examining business best practices, entertainment law and music licensing, as well as the technology driving listener engagement with emergent artists.
Daytime panels, discussions and showcases will be hosted at the Williamsburg Hotel, with nighttime events and concerts being hosted across venues in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Notable speakers include Reverend Al Sharpton, David Israelite, Michael Dorf, among a great many others. A handful of artist showcases will feature performances by Ballyhoo!, Susto, and Futurebirds, with venues including Brooklyn Bowl, The Knitting Factory, and Bowery Electric.

Partnerships for the event include the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Rolling Stone Magazine, Guild of Music Supervisors, and Harvard Law School. Given the scope of contributors, as well as the status of speakers and performers, Mondo.NYC has become one of the staple conferences providing attendees with an insider's-take on the modern state of the industry, with ample networking opportunities and ground-breaking performances.
