There’s a palpable buzz surrounding rising producers Marshmello and Jauz. Arguably two of the biggest breakout talents of the past year, both artists have succeeded in not only creating their own sonic stamp on electronic music, but in attracting a rabid, personal fanbase.

Having teased their joint-track “Magic” for many months now, the pair have finally released the collaboration. The track begins on a bit of a saccharine note, bolstering a catchy, albeit a bit cheesy, chord progression. When the drop arrives, however, the melody translates fluidly into a dubstep-trap amalgamation. The end result is a celebratory dance anthem from the pair that balances both artists’ creative strengths.

This isn’t the first time the pair have collaborated, having previously released a remix of Duke Dumont’s “Need U (100%)” in 2015. Jauz recently shared a video of him discussing the collaboration and how it came about via Splice. Watch it below:
