Che Lingo, a British rapper and producer, has written an original piece of music titled “All It Took’ for the 1 in 100 campaign for the Olympic Refugee Team, released today.
Che Lingo stands at the forefront of contemporary British rap, using his artistry to reflect and drive societal change. Recognized as an influential voice of our era, Che has received critical acclaim and a nomination for his album “The Worst Generation”.
He has also become a prominent advocate for racial justice, earning him the title of the British voice of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The Olympic Refugee Team comprises 36 athletes from countries across Africa, the Americas, and Asia. This diverse team includes first-time Olympians, members of the previous Refugee Olympic Team Tokyo 2020, and athletes who represented their countries before becoming refugees.
They will be competing as the IOC Refugee Team Paris 2024, symbolizing the plight of over 100 million displaced individuals worldwide.
