Datsik is starting f his 2018 with some serious heat. The dubstep ninja just dropped his newest EP, Master Shadows.

The EP was released for a matter hours today before it reached the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Dance charts.

But that's no surprise when you see the talent that Firepower Records cultivated for this EP. Datsik brought on some the most innovative names in bass music like Ganja White Night, JPhelpz and Dion Timmer. Each track marries the classic Datsik dubstep wobble with fresh and unique sounds.

The EP starts f with a track called “Pressure Plates.” This powerful yet uplifting track is a calm intro to the madness that is to follow. This banger is sure to make its way into festival sets and dance floors all over.

Being featured on not only one, but two tracks the EP is Virtual Riot. “Warriors the Night” and “Freakuency” showcase the power that emerges when these two producers get together. Virtual Riot joined the Ninja Nation tour last year and has since become one Datsik’s favorite collaborators.

This EP features talent from some the best up and coming artists, so naturally a collaboration with the wobble masters, Ganja White Night was in order. “Bad Behavior” is a track that features a fresh rap verses from lyricist T Rabb combined with the heavy hitting sound GWN.

JPhelpz is a frequent collaborator with Firepower Records, and he showcases his precise sounds with “Ronin Riddim.” This track is clean, powerful and addictive.

To end the EP is a collaboration with dubstep power mavens Excision and Dion Timmer. Prepare your speakers and neck for this one, because you will be blown away by the bass.
