Limited passes remain for the return of Lightning in a Bottle, the five-day utopian playground descending once again upon Buena Vista Lake, Kern County, from May 21–25 presented by the Do Lab.

The lineup reads like a love letter to all corners of the musical cosmos: legendary UK icons Underworld, sun-kissed psychonauts Khruangbin, emotional alchemists Jamie XX and Four Tet, plus ambient techno troubadour Monolink, bass sorcerers Subtronics and Troyboi, dancefloor priestess The Blessed Madonna, and the ever-enchanting Shygirl with her Club Shy showcase.

Add in NYC’s Book Club Radio masterminds Tinzo + Jojo plus a constellation of other sonic outlaws, and you’ve got a journey primed for transcendence. While Claude VonStroke returns from a 2-year hiatus with his 2025 Life of Leisure Tour, ready to release 2 years of pent-up creativity upon the masses.

But the main stage is just the tip of the iceberg. The festival’s famed side realms – the Junkyard, the Stacks, and the Grand Antique – offer an alchemical mix of dusty ethereal grooves, sweat-soaked bassy beats, and improvisational chaos magic.
