Six years after opening, nightclub and event space Canal Mills is closing down to make way for property redevelopment.
The Leeds spot will be saying farewell this autumn and winter, with Bicep, Alan Fitzpatrick, Willow, Mella Dee, Krystal Klear and Baba Stiltz locked in. Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor will also play an exclusive Prince set on December 1.
The New Year's Eve and New Year's Day line-ups are yet to be announced.
The Canal Mills Estate redevelopment means the venue and surrounding area will "no longer be available for use following the 1st January."
A statement from Canal Mills' Director Mark Newton reads: “It is with a heavy heart we’ve had to announce the closing of Canal Mills. Although leaving a place with so many happy memories is a sad moment, it’s nice to do it on a high with the space being more popular than ever.
"When we first opened the venue it was an unknown for us, and our aim to build a space for the creative arts hadn’t be done on this scale before in Leeds. After more than five successful years at the venue we leave feeling very proud with what has been achieved, and excited about our next project in the city."
