For those of us who have not made plans for New Year’s Eve in Chicago yet, time is running out! FOMO not though, OTB has got you covered so that you can end up fashionably late somewhere fashionable!

As always the ladies and gents at Reverse Events will be throwing a rave to remember with their first NYE production, Zero Day in their 20,000 square foot sound cave. Headlining are Cocodrills who will bring some Miami flavor to the dark and deep sounds favored by the Reverse crew.

Promose7en events will be holding their 4th New Years Countdown at the Dana Hotel. Featuring, among many others, the versatile and virtuous talents of Chicago’s own Dogma. For those not wanting to figure out where home is a 20% discount is available for rooms at the Dana.

For the visual art minded, Canvas is presenting their third Voyager NYE bash with headliner Daedelus bringing his jazz and hip-hop inflected sets from LA. Definitely an excellent opportunity to catch him before he plays Further Future 002 in April. The Canvas venue, as always, will be tricked out by Chicago’s finest visual artists; who make sure the curves are in all the right places. Act fast on this one as there are only a few tickets left at the time of this writing.

Freakeasy Central Command and Evil Olive will ring in 2016 at another of the Fuck Your Club Night events. The back room will be held down by the dependable house talents of: Justin Reed (joined by DOJO on violin), Radiohiro, and Striz,

Christina Chatfield and here acid inflected house/techno stylings will headline the Naughty Bad Fun Collective’s NYE line up at their secret location. RSVP to [email protected] for more on that show.

If you’re in the mood for House basements that aren’t underground you are in luck. Primary will be showcasing modern house with Golf Clap, hot out of the Detroit Boiler Room, and the Primary resident family at 5 W. Division. Meanwhile SmartBar will represent classic Chicago House at 3730 N. Clark With Justin Long and the rest of the SmartBar resident crew.
