Cocoon will make Ibiza history by inviting Kraftwerk for their first ever appearance on the island.

The electronic pioneers take their 3D multimedia show to Playa d'en Bossa venue Ushuaïa Ibiza on September 13.

The performance is part of the 20th anniversary of Sven Väth’s iconic Cocoon party, and follows Kraftwerk's worldwide tour of the 3D shows.

According to the press release, the Kraftwerk show is a true "Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art" and a "dream come true" for Cocoon founder Sven Väth.

Cocoon throws another party at Ushuaïa on May 25, with Underworld confirmed as guests for the 20th anniversary event.

Cocoon also holds its residency at Amnesia, hosting 10 parties featuring the likes of Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Bicep and Charlotte De Witte.
