Kap Slap has been having some fun with his music in 2019 by involving his fans. He kicked off his “Twitch Tuesday” segments, where he produces music and interacts with fans, taking suggestions along the way. So far, Kap Slap has made a couple of his popular mashup mixes during these segments. He’s also put together a remix of Sammy Arriaga’s cover of Dan + Shay’s “Tequila”. Even I jumped in on the fun during the making of “Tequila”!
The remix kicks off with a somewhat tropical build and then blends into a progressive, future-style drop; all while balancing the original cover vocal and the vocal with some effects. Together, that combination gives “Tequila” the perfect summer vibe for cruising to the beach or hitting the rooftop dance floor.
