One the most recognizable voices EDM, JES, is back with her latest release, “The One” with Jooans Hahmo & JS16. Already known for her powerful vocals in collaborations with Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate and more, JES's newest single sees her again delivering on the talent in this bubblegum electro track.
For “The One”, JES partnered with one Finland's hottest EDM exports, Joonas Hahmo, and JS16, who's behind prominent European projects like Bomfunk MC's (“Freestyler”, “Crack It”, etc), Dallas Superstars.
In a departure from the sultry trance vocals JES is known to deliver, this pop-infused track comes as a surprise. In response to that, JES states, “It’s always fun to break the mold what people expect from you and surprise them with something totally different. There’s a strong sense hopefulness in the lyrics “The One” and I think the sound the song really captures that. A lot my songs have a more serious emotional feel, but with this one, I got to have some fun and break the rules!”
