Surrounded by a legendary circle of artists, the New York City based Madstone Rowan is the vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter behind Tripping Jupiter.  Tripping Jupiter’s music blends classic glam rock and pop with modern production, creating a timeless and contemporary sound. Madstone fully embraces the band’s identity and expression, offering a transcendent view of art and music that is not restricted by societal norms or self-imposed limits.

Their approach creates a sense of barrier-free freedom that is evident in both the music and visuals, reflecting modern rock and retro-pop sensibilities. Tripping Jupiter’s philosophy centers on personal identity, described as “beyond the binary,” with a belief that life and music should have no boundaries. By demonstrating courage in vulnerability, Madstone leads by example, empowering others to do the same.

In their lyrics, Madstone sings, “so shake your head and take your bets cuz this ain’t over yet. I don’t care if I burn in my desire. It’s only fire.”

Prior to the remix of ‘We Are Starlight’, Tripping Jupiter released an album titled, Lipstick of the Brave, that was also produced by Billboard charting producer and mentor Barb Morrison.  Additionally, the album features bass performances by the legendary session musician Gail Ann Dorsey, known for her collaborations with David Bowie.

The Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) or International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual event celebrated on March 31st to honor and recognize transgender individuals worldwide.

It aims to increase awareness of the discrimination faced by this community while celebrating their valuable contributions to society. The day was founded in 2009 by Rachel Crandall, a transgender activist from Michigan, who noticed the lack of recognition of transgender people in the LGBTQ+ community. She created TDOV as a positive alternative to the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which only mourned the loss of transgender individuals.

The first TDOV was held on March 31, 2009, and has been organized by Trans Student Educational Resources, a youth advocacy organization based in the United States. Many individuals and organizations around the world now participate in TDOV to show their support for the transgender community.

One notable event on TDOV occurred in 2014 when Manila-born supermodel Geena Rocero publicly came out as transgender during a TED conference in New York City.
