By all accounts, Fyre Festival was an unmitigated disaster. Millions lost, hundreds of people stranded, no one knowing what was going on… it would almost be beautifully poetic if it weren’t so tragic. But thanks in large part to the presence of hundreds of Instagram influencers with cameras at the ready, a lot of footage came of the event, and a lot of it has been compiled into a new multi-part documentary series that will premiere exclusively on Hulu.

The series is being developed by Billboard, Mic, and The Cinemart, and is slated for release in 2019.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it “will examine what really happened behind the scenes and the ongoing investigation into the failed music festival that was set to take place on a private Bahamian island, exposing what went wrong and who is to blame.”

It will be comprised of in-person interviews, never-before-seen footage of the festival, leaked documents, and more.
