Moonrise Festival 2018 is only two weeks away and hosts its most impressive roster of talent yet with artists including DJ Snake, Diplo, Kaskade, Marshmello and many more. While we are all preparing our kandi bracelets and outfits for the festival, here are a few things we want to remind you before we begin to party.
Parking
Many of us will be traveling a bit to before we reach the venue. if you are like me and intend to drive down, please be aware that parking in the neighborhood is very limited. We recommend purchasing a parking pass so that you can park right in the designated parking area to not only guarantee a safe environment to park your car but also eliminates a long walk back to your car after the festival has concluded. Lockers
Backpacks are prohibited from festival grounds which can make carrying your stuff around all day a hassle. Luckily, Moonrise Festival offers 2-day lockers to store your stuff so you can party without responsibility. You can purchase your 2-day locker rental here now.
Tickets
Like years past, tickets to the festival will be in the form of a bracelet but this year, you will need to activate your bracelets prior to entering the festival. Although you are activating your personalized bracelet, the festival is not cash-free so be sure to bring cash and credit cards to purchase all your needs on site. Tickets are selling out so if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, make sure to purchase them here now before they are gone!
Hydration
With the festival taking place in the middle of summer, it is important to remain hydrated throughout the day. Moonrise Festival will be bringing more water stations than ever this year to keep everyone hydrated. Camelbacks will be permitted in the venue but please be sure they are completely empty before entering the venue.
Pre-Cautions
The festival will return to it’s home at Pimlico Race Course this year with multiple stages spread across a grassland. In years past, rain has been an issue with the festival as it causes muddy conditions throughout the venue. Moonrise Festival has always worked super hard to ensure the venue is suitable for partying but as a precaution, it would be smart to bring a second pair of sneakers or boots if you plan on partying through the 2-day festival. While umbrellas are prohibited from the festival, ponchos and rain jackets are not, so be sure to pack a few if you don’t want to get wet. Enhance Your Experience
Moonrise Festival is constantly looking for ways to enrich their VIP experience.
