Brighton-based promoter Wonderland has announced that Honey Dijon will play at its Pride party on August 3 to coincide with the Brighton Pride celebrations that will take place in the city from August 2–4.

The DJ last played in Brighton in March, when Patterns hosted her.

Discussing the booking, Wonderland founder Damien Fell explained, "I really don't think there is anybody more relevant in dance music right now to all the issues the Pride movement represents. She really is an inspiration to all of us, and her sets have so much energy, creativity and good time vibes."

"I've also teamed up with a new really sassy cool queer party called Hideous Kinky for the night, who are just so cool and creative. They have some amazing entertainment and tricks up their sleeves ready for the party, and I'm really excited to see the reaction of everybody on the night!"

In May, it was revealed that Dijon would be launching a brand in collaboration with Japanese fashion powerhouse COMME des GARÇONS; the firsrt collection will include DJ bags and T-shirts, and should be available at the end of summer.

She also recently remixed a track off Jayda G's forthcoming EP, providing a hefty re-work of 'Stanley's Get Down (No Parking on the DF)'. Discussing the track, she noted, "It was so much fun remixing an artist who has a clear understanding and respect for the foundation of dance music heritage and culture.
