HOCO Fest is back in Tucson, Arizona, this month, showcasing an experimental line-up at venues across the city.
Roza Terenzi (pictured), Omar Apollo, Dj Nigga Fox, LSDXOXO, Minimal Violence,Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, D. Tiffany, Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and foxwedding are among the artists locked into perform at the diverse showcase of musical styles, spanning haywire acid and propulsive club music to smooth soul and goth rap.
The city’s Hotel Congress, which doubles up as a cultural arts hub, will host a number of events. The historic institution was founded in 1919 and HOCO Fest marks part of its centenary year celebrations. Other venues include the Rialto Theatre, 191 Toole and Che’s Lounge.
Alongside live music and parties, HOCO Fest will present a series of “panels and lectures, experimental after-parties, art installations, daytime pool parties, regional vendor flea markets, holistic workshops, and unparalleled tastings from the UNESCO City of Gastronomy”.
HOCO Fest runs day and night across August 29 to September 1. Tickets are on sale now, get yours here.
