“Hyperion” is Gesaffelstein's first album
since 2013. To say it was extremely anticipated is an understatement. Hyperion is a change of tempo for the DJ, however the album has a spread that may be appreciated. Gesaffelstein signed to Columbia Records in November 2018 and lots of followers are questioning if that is the rationale for the change of tempo.We've had a couple of teasers for this album with “Lost within the Fire” that includes The Weeknd and “Blast Off” with Pharrell. Features are positively one thing new for Gesaffelstein. None of his previous albums function another artists, apart from the occasional remix. But, he is proved his means to deliver a brand new sound to what may probably be “mainstream” music.
From an eerily stunning “So Bad” that includes HAIM to deeper sounding “Reset”, Gesaffelstein retains us guessing. While it's totally different from previous albums, growth, and alter of sound is what makes an artist…an artist.
