Some Thirty Seconds To Mars fans were caught off-guard last night (June 4), when one of the Jedward twins was unexpectedly seen on stage. Find some fan responses below.
The moment took place last night as the Jared Leto rock group headed to London for the latest show on their ‘Seasons Tour’. Taking place at The O2, the huge arena show was originally set to take place back in April, but was later rescheduled.
Leto and co. announced the news back in March, and revealed that the altered dates came as a result of the SAG-AFTRA Actors’ strike causing delays in the frontman’s filming schedule. Other dates on the tour were also affected.
Now, after taking to the stage in London last night, some fans have been left surprised after seeing another famous face unexpectedly join the stage with them.
During the rendition of their 2018 track ‘Rescue Me’, the members invited a handful of members of the audience onto the stage with them, where they all sang along to the track. Surprisingly though, one of those lucky concertgoers chosen was a member of Jedward – the Irish twin duo who rose to fame after appearing on X Factor.
The rendition of the song came early into the set, following the band opening with ‘Up In The Air’, ‘Kings And Queens’ and ‘Walk On Water’. In fan-captured footage of the show, Jared Leto is seen addressing the audience with multiple fans standing behind him, including one of the twins.
“The last thing I expected to see at a thirty seconds to mars concert was for one of the jedward twins to get brought on stage (?),” one fan who attended the show shared on X/Twitter, sharing a clip of the moment.

Another shared their surprise at the appearance by writing: “Can’t believe I went to see thirty seconds to mars tonight and also got to see jedward on stage with em, defo didn’t have that on my 2024 bingo card.”
Many others have also taken to social media to share clips and images of that specific moment, and recall the confusion they felt when recognising the singer. Check out more reactions below.

The latest run of live shows come as part of the band’s seventh world tour, and follow on from their aforementioned new album ‘It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day’, which arrived in 2023.
Dates across the UK and Europe follow on from a run of shows the band did across South America, and are set to continue tomorrow night (June 6) with a slot at the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow, and the night after with a show at the AO Arena in Manchester. Visit here for any last-minute tickets.
Jared Leto announced the tour – which is the band’s first in over five years – back in November, when he turned heads by climbing up the Empire State Building to celebrate the announcement.
This wasn’t the first time that Leto had surprised fans with his climbing skills, back in June last year the singer and actor surprised passers by in Germany after he was spotted scaling the wall of a hotel without a harness.
In other Thirty Seconds To Mars news, earlier this year the frontman divided fans’ opinions by recording an unconventional introduction to the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Talking directly to the camera, the 90-second clip saw Leto eerily recite the lyrics to Elvis Presley’s iconic 1968 song ‘Viva Las Vegas’ with no emotion. It also featured clips of the Las Vegas strip and inside the casinos, as well as images of famous Formula One drivers.
As for Jedward, the twins recently took aim at their former manager Louis Walsh, following him branding them as “vile” during his time on Celebrity Big Brother.
Since then, they have also been rumoured to be working with CMAT, following the Irish singer sharing her support for the duo following the comments.
