RESISTANCE’s 2025 finale could not have played out any better this past Saturday. Closing out its five-month club residency at M2, the global techno powerhouse event series brought one final show that pulled no punches.

This night marked the end of RESISTANCE’s second season in Miami, following a stacked stretch of programming that saw sets from Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha, and more. The brand’s presence has become a staple in the city’s nightlife landscape, and with expansions in Ibiza, London, and Tokyo on the horizon, the momentum is only building.

Kicking things off was a B2B with Miami up-and-comers Nico Moon and Polk. They dialed up the energy as ravers filed through the doors of M2, eager for a night of fast-paced techno basslines and mesmerizing visual production.

By the time Charles D took over, M2 was nearly full. The NYC underground techno talent has quickly become a force in the genre, with releases on labels like Drumcode and Eli Brown’s Arcane. His signature sound, which combines hard-hitting grooves with progressive undertones, was on full display. He ripped a two-hour set that lit up South Beach’s premier club, while digitized visuals plunged the audience into a cyberworld of codes and geometric shapes, reflecting Charles’ robotic, techno-fueled sound design.

Of the many standout moments from his performance, one had to be an edit of Mathame’s recent hit “I Will Find You” which reinvents the Clannad’s classic song and theme from The Last Of The Mohicans. Charles also played a driving techno flip of Fatboy Slim’s anthem from 2000, “Star 69 (What The F**k)”. RESISTANCE’s dancers flanked the stage, with lasers slicing through the venue as he closed.

The roar of the crowd greeted Eli Brown, who wasted no time launching into his recent remix of Dom Dolla’s “Dreamin.” An acrobat descended from the ceiling as green floodlights washed over the club, setting the tone for what was to come. Over the next three hours, Eli controlled the room.

“Believe” sent shockwaves through the dancefloor, while his techno flip of Beltran’s breakout “Smack Yo’” was a moment of collective disbelief. He even worked in a thumping version of “Swag On,” catching the entire crowd off guard. Blue strobes and laser sequences elevated the atmosphere alongside the dancers and aerial performer, adding to the immersive effect.

Eli closed out with a techno-driven take on one of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s most iconic tracks, drawing a thunderous ovation. This show was not just a closing party, it was a reminder that Miami remains a global destination for both mainstream and underground techno, and RESISTANCE is at the heart of it. For any techno fan lucky enough to attend, it was a night to remember — and a proper finale for one of Miami’s defining club series.

However, as the lights dimmed on RESISTANCE Miami’s final night at M2, the energy felt less like a conclusion and more like a handoff. With its U.S. residency now wrapped, the brand’s next chapter awaits on the shores of Ibiza, where RESISTANCE will return for its flagship summer residency at Amnesia.

Running every Wednesday from July 23 through September 17, the nine-week season will once again be anchored by weekly performances from global icons Adam Beyer and ARTBAT. Ibiza regulars Massano and Korolova will also serve as headlining residents, and the full season lineup promises over 50 of the world’s top house and techno artists. From Richie Hawtin to Sasha & John Digweed, and Deep Dish to Stephan Bodzin (live), the lineup represents an unmatched collection of international talent.

Beyond the stacked weekly programming, this year’s edition is poised to break new ground with a series of world-exclusive B2Bs, including the first-ever performances of Adam Beyer B2B Eli Brown, ARTBAT B2B Hardwell, HI-LO B2B Nicole Moudaber, and ANNA B3B Chris Avantgarde B3B Innellea. The season kicks off with the Ibiza debut of Adam Beyer B2B Mau P and closes in epic fashion with a three-way world debut from Adam Beyer, ARTBAT, and Vintage Culture.

With Amnesia’s immersive production and sky-roof terrace setting the scene, RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated residencies of the summer, continuing the brand’s legacy of global dominance in the house and techno space.
