In anticipation EDC Las Vegas' 2018 lineup announcement, Insomniac Events decided to announce this year's theme in quite the non-traditional fashion. Earlier this morning, Pasquale Rotella took to Facebook to say that he's happy to announce this year's theme for EDC Las Vegas on Valentine's Day… “Welcome to kineticLOVE.”
Pasquale Rotella wrote:
“Welcome to kineticLOVE! ❤️🙌✨ kineticFIELD is where the spirit EDC is transmitted, it represents the core the festival. Last year’s theme was kineticGAIA, symbolizing our Mother Earth and the care we need to show for our sacred planet. 🌎✌️
In 2018 it's all about LOVE and the connections we share with one another. In this world we live in, it's more important than ever that we strengthen those bonds between us.”
For today's announcement, some lucky headliners received presents from the Insomniac Team in their mailboxes. The gifts contained custom conversation hearts that have some the artists featured on this year's lineup as well as logos and phrases that the attendees will recognize.
