Following an upcoming run of previously announced festival dates and overseas headliners, Duke’s North American Tour kicks off on November 8 in Toronto. It includes stops in New York City, Vancouver, Chicago, Denver, and Detroit. Stay tuned for the announcement of opening acts. There will also be other surprise additions.
Duke’s Double Announcement
Alongside the tour news, Duke only recently announced the release date of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Union. This will be his first full-length project since he dropped his critically acclaimed 2020 debut Duality. The new album expands his sonic universe further. It blends deep house, progressive textures, and classic dance influences into a cohesive body of work. It celebrates connection, freedom, and unity on the dancefloor.
While Union was made to be listened to in its entirety, front to back, Duke shared a handful of thrilling singles from the LP thus far. Most recent was the euphoric ‘I Need You Now,‘ blending soulful vocals with his signature deep house grooves. This captures the emotional intensity of longing and connection.
Before that came blistering club heater ‘Your Loving’ and a pair of electrifying, emotive collaborations: ‘All My Life’ featuring Panama and ‘Ain’t Giving Up’ with Clementine Douglas. Each richly textured song was crafted with the immersive energy of live performance in mind. Duke made this “to take the listener on a journey,” as he puts it.
The Tour
That, of course, bodes well for Duke’s upcoming shows. Ever since turning heads with his electrifying 2022 Coachella set, he’s earned a reputation for bringing high-impact performances to iconic venues like Red Rocks and The Mirage. These shows are complete with custom visuals and stage design. Duke’s catalog is engineered for dancefloor impact. Duke now finds himself in the midst of a packed summer. He is lighting up major stages and festivals including The Calgary Stampede, Dublin’s D8 in the Garden, Poland’s BitterSweet, and Zürich Openair, among others.
