Dixon returns to Pacha Ibiza this summer with his transmoderna residency.
Described as an "experiment" that is "more than just a residency", transmoderna opens on May 24 and runs for 20 weeks until October 4 at the iconic Ibiza club.
Over the course of the season the Innervisions boss will be joined by "collaborators, conspirators and competitors" to deliver the three key components of the night: fracture, frisson and funthasma.
DJs heading to transmoderna include DJ Koze, Honey Dijon, Job Jobse, Solomun, HAAi, Tale Of Us, Jennifer Cardini, KiNK (live), Henrik Schwarz (live), Âme, Call Super and Gerd Janson. Other guests include Virgil Abloh, Róisín Murphy and more.
The idea behind 'fracture' is that Dixon will move away from the conventional club night by turning it into an immersive experience with the help of visual artists, interior designers and light and laser engineers.
'Frisson' means transmoderna will "conjure the experience of transcendence through music and movement, through cyberenthusiasm, spiritual toys, and random marvels."
"Ancients and avatars" will be invited along to transmoderna to deliver the 'funsthasma' ethos of the party, with Dixon hoping to "infuse ibiza with sensuality again."
