Bruce Springsteen is reportedly joining the all-star line-up for an upcoming Patti Smith tribute concert in New York this week.
This Wednesday (March 26), New York’s famed Carnegie Hall will host the People Have the Power: A Celebration of Patti Smith tribute concert, featuring an all-star line-up of musicians paying homage to the legendary Patti Smith.
Among those previously announced to perform include Karen O, Michael Stipe, Kim Gordon, Flea, and more. The line-up of performers will be backed by a house band led by Tony Shanahan, a longtime member of Smith’s band, along with Flea and Rolling Stones tour drummer Steve Jordan.
Now, Consequence has reported that Bruce Springsteen will reportedly be joining the tribute concert, though further details surrounding his performance remain unknown at this time. It is also currently unclear if Patti Smith herself will be making an appearance at the gig.
