Some questions are more powerful than the answers they demand.
Serving as the ninth release on their label AUREUM, Brazilian electronic duo Bruce Leroys return with a new artistic phase – one marked by bold collaborations, deep introspection, and a fearless sonic palette. Their latest offering, “What Do You Want,” features two original cuts alongside a soul-stirring remix by Brazilian maestro André Torquato, forming a cohesive, emotionally rich journey held together by the magnetic voice of Lee Wilson.
Since their 2013 debut, Bruce Leroys have blazed trails across Brazil’s electronic music scene and beyond. They have earned praise from titans like Solomun, Dennis Cruz, and Damian Lazarus, and have released on iconic labels such as Get Physical and Yoshitoshi. Now, on their own imprint AUREUM, they push even further, with a new EP exploring two distinct creative languages: one steeped in the contemporary sounds of deep and tech house, and the other a reverent nod to the genre’s roots, shaped with Lee Wilson’s powerful voice in mind.
Wilson, hailed by Kenny Dope as “the new voice of Dance Music,” anchors the title track with a question that resonates far beyond the dance floor: “What do you want?” The answer, Bruce Leroys suggest, is up to the listener. Just like how everyone may feel differently about a song, everyone will answer that question a different way.

André Torquato’s remix elevates the package, threading the needle between neo-soul and house. With echoes of D’Angelo, Maxwell, and Robert Glasper, Torquato delivers a textured, emotive reinterpretation that provides the perfect setting for Wilson’s expressive vocals.
More than a release, “What Do You Want” marks a declaration of intent from Bruce Leroys: fearless collaborations, genre-fluid storytelling, and a commitment to evolving what house music can be.
The question has been asked. So, what do you want?
