It’s going to be a doozy–a Grandoozy, actually.
Yep, that’s the rather unfortunate name America’s newest major music festival which is set to land in Denver from September 14-16. Run by Superfly, the company behind Bonnaroo, this promises to be a major hit in Colorado.
The festival will not feature camping, but it will feature three to four stages, food, art installations and, course, plenty alcohol.
Modeled after San Francisco’s Outside Lands, the event is expected to host between 30,000 and 60,000 attendees. The contract for Grandoozy is a guaranteed 5 years too, so it will certainly be a regular installment in Denver.
As for the all-important lineup, the ficial announce is set for March 20th. In addition, there is early speculation for some headliners. 303 Magazine believes Florence + The Machine will perform as they were heavily featured in the promo video shown to people at the ficial announcement. I’ve also personally heard rumors that Flume, The Chainsmokers, Kendrick Lamar, and Major Lazer could be making appearances as well.
For the next 12 days I’ll be holding my breath for the ficial lineup, so be sure to check back at Your EDM on March 20th to see who will be coming to the heart Denver!
