Founded by Brandon Silverstein, S10 has been steadily expanding its influence in the industry through strategic partnerships and high-profile signings.

S10 Entertainment has received a substantial investment from Avex USA, the American division of Japanese music company Avex Group. Katsumi Kuroiwa, the global CEO of Avex Inc., announced this collaboration at an investor conference in Tokyo. It represents a notable alliance between a major Japanese entertainment company and a prominent North American talent management group.

Naoki Osada, CEO of Avex USA, commented on the partnership: “We’ve achieved a significant amount with Brandon in recent years, and over that time built a strong trust between us. We share much in common with our respective companies’ DNA, and extending our partnership was a logical step.”

This strategic alliance provides S10 with additional resources and potentially opens new opportunities in Asian markets for its roster of artists. Concurrently, it offers Avex’s Japanese talents access to experienced management in the U.S. market, creating a connection between the music industries of Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Addition of Big Sean to Artist Roster

In another notable development, Brandon Silverstein has signed Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean to its management roster. Big Sean, previously with Roc Nation for about a decade, is preparing to release his sixth solo album, “Better Me Than You.”

Regarding the new partnership, Big Sean stated, “Brandon shares the vision, understands where I’m headed, and I’m looking forward to working with him and the S10 team.” This addition enhances S10’s roster and demonstrates the company’s capacity to attract established artists.

Expanding Global Reach

The Avex USA partnership and Big Sean’s signing are part of S10 Entertainment’s broader growth strategy. S10 and Avex USA have also jointly signed a co-publishing agreement with emerging music producer Kavi, known for his production on Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”

These moves indicate S10’s commitment to developing both established and emerging talent while expanding its international presence. The collaboration between S10 and Avex USA extends beyond artist management, creating opportunities for cross-promotion and international exposure for artists.

Brandon Silverstein’s Position in Music Publishing

S10 Publishing, the company’s publishing division, has been building a roster of songwriters and producers. Recent collaborators include Jasper Harris, who worked on Tate McRae’s “Greedy,” and HARV, a contributor to Justin Bieber’s “Peaches.”

The company reports that its publishing catalog has accumulated over 40 billion streams and achieved 20 global number-one songs. S10’s catalog includes tracks from artists such as Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, Rihanna, Drake, Doja Cat, Selena Gomez, Kid Laroi, Khalid, DJ Snake, and The Weeknd.

With offices in Los Angeles and New York, Brandon Silverstein is establishing S10 as a comprehensive entity covering management, music publishing, record label operations, and investments. The company’s approach combines individual artist attention with a global perspective.
