For its 11th version this summer season, which takes place in Winchester throughout August 7 to 11, Boomtown is introducing the brand new post-apocalyptic themed district AREA 404 to showcase hard-hitting digital music and rap, starting from Carl Cox, Amelie Lens and Four Tet to The Streets, Little Simz and Ms. Lauryn Hill.
Drumcode are taking up AREA 404’s Nucleus stage on the Sunday with Dense & Pika locked in to carry out. The duo emerged in 2011 and have since established themselves as one of the distinctive acts in fashionable techno, reaching many profession milestones from a BBC Essential Mix to releases on Drumcode and Hotflush.

The London-based positive artist, efficiency artist and inventive designer is the mastermind behind hits like turning your favorite album artworks into soccer shirts, your favorite competition line-ups into acid home flyers, your favorite album covers into nike sneakers; reworking the life tales of Idris Elba and Danny Rampling into wonderful animations; in addition to taking commissions similar to designing the identity for club night Chunk and tour visuals for DEBONAIR.
