Avicii's family have set up the Tim Bergling Foundation.
The DJ and producer died at the age of 28 last year. His family have launched the Tim Bergling Foundation to "focus on supporting people and organizations working in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention."
Climate change, development assistance, nature conservation and endangered species will be other fields the foundation focuses on.
The statement from the foundation added: "Tim wanted to make a difference. Starting a foundation in his name is our way to honor his memory and continue to act in his spirit.”
After his death in Oman on April 20, 2018, a number of musicians, from Carl Craig and The Black Madonna to Eric Prydz and Black Coffee paid tribute to him.
Avicii retired from touring in 2016 due to ongoing heath issues and fatigue.
