It’s that time of year again.

I’m not a huge fan of New Year’s Resolutions, but one that I always make is to discover new artists every single year, specifically in Electronic Dance Music. It seems like there are so many up-and-comers out there who are ready to break out into the spotlight at a moment’s notice, and I’ve got my eyes on a couple of them.

2024 was such a great year for EDM, and there’s a very good chance that 2025 will be even better. And, if I were a betting man, I’d assume a lot of the artists on our official 2025 watchlist will be a big part of it. This list will range from most walks of EDM, but with a main focus on the type of music you’d likely hear on our label, Magnetic Magazine Recordings. While there are so many deserving artists out there of being on this list, we narrowed it down 39 names; some may be familiar, some may not. They all share one thing in common, though: you should keep an eye on them, because they’re on track to do some amazing things in 2025.

Laure

Laure is a Canadian artist, DJ, and producer who really had a phenomenal breakout year in 2023, and that momentum saw a tour of fuel poured on its fire throughout 2024. The result? She is poised to be one of the fastest-rising underground artists in the melodic house scene throughout 2025. Only a few days into the new year and shes already shared stages with some of the biggest melodic house producers in the industry, and by this time next year we know that she will have many, many more wins under her belt.

Discognition

Avid readers of Magnetic Magazine will certainly know of Discognition, the Denver-based DJ and producer making waves in the melodic deep house scene.

We’ve been big fans of his for a while now; he’s released twice on our record label, and his knack for nailing both the chill and the energetic side of melodic house is one-of-a-kind. He’s also a prolific live act: he’s announced a B2B with Hausman in support of Adam Stark on January 11th, and will be headlining The Awakening at The Gem in Idaho Falls on March 15th. Who knows what else he has in store for 2025?

Bar Shaked

These days, everyone says buzzwords and catch phrases like “genres are done” and “I make every genre” but how many artists actually live up to that claim? I would argue that far too few of them actually manage to f**k genres, but Bar Shaked is a Tel Aviv-based artist who actually does all of this and more. His following is small right now, I would argue that it’s criminally small based on how incredibly talented he is and how top-notch his productions are, but the community that he’s building around his artist project and party series are signs that he is going to have a massive year in 2025.

Black Wands

Denver is one of the hottest cities in the United States right now for progressive and meldoic house music and it’s no wonder why a sizable chunk of artists even on this list are all Colorado-based. Black Wands is one of the many artists in this roundup who has all the pieces in place to really take off in 2025. He’s shared stages with some of the biggest artists in the industry as they come through his city, he’s released on top-labels run by industry-leading artists, and he’s worked his way up to being one of the go-to names in Denver’s scene.

And with a number of massive signings already confirmed for this year alongside a handful of potentially career-defining gigs, Black Wands is not one to be slept on this year.

Cause Two

Having been in hibernation for a couple of years, this duo is set to turn on the fire again in 2025. With only a few tasteful releases under their belt, which have been heavily supported in Above & Beyond Group Therapy, David Hohme’s yearly mix albums, and garnered support from some of the other biggest names in the industry, these guys are a must-see name for any fan of melodic and progressive house.

Known for their textural and heart-string pulling sound, the have a true knack for making music that hits as hard in the club as it is easy to listen to on your favorite playlist. And with melodic and organic house having a serious moment in 2024, and showing no signs of slowing down in 2025, the fact that these two guys can cut through the noise and get heard and supported by the biggest names in the game is a sign that they have what it takes to crush this year.

Massio

Massio has been on a slow burn to stardom for a few years now but with the success that his label, Rythmica, has seen over the last year and the handful of top-level releases he has rumored to have locked in throughout 2025, there has never been a better time than now for all eyes to be locked on him.

He’s another Southern California artist whose music has earned him international gigs and global acclaim, with the Keinmusik bros heavily supporting his label’s music along with being top-named in the meldoic house world all rinsing his productions seemingly left, right, and center.

Edu Schwartz

One of South America’s fastest-rising names in the progressive house scene, Edu Schwartz dominated 2024 and has set himself up for a massive year in 2025. SA, over the last few years especially, has been a hotbed of meldoic and progressive house scenes, with some of the best names coming out of that corner of the world and some of the biggest artists in the game saying South American clubs are the best in the world.

What I mean by this is that if Edu can make such a massive impact on such a highly competitive scene, then he’s definitely got what it takes to crush the charts and come out on top this year.

Roy LaCroix

Roy LaCroix is making waves for all the right reasons heading into 2025. His remix of Culture Beat’s Mr. Vain takes a 90s dance staple and gives it a tech house facelift without losing the energy that made the original a classic. With supersaw drops, gated synths, and a groove built for bigger stages, it’s a masterclass in balancing nostalgia with modern production. And the fact it’s a free download? Total win for DJs and fans alike.

What really sets LaCroix apart is his obsession with creating music that feels personal yet universally nostalgic. Whether it’s his roller-disco-meets-club vibe, his synthwave alias Driver405, or his DIY ethic of helping other producers, he’s got a clear vision. Pair that with a toolkit loaded with Linndrums, tape wobble, and a knack for reimagining forgotten gems, and it’s obvious why he’s one to watch in 2025.

Siëndo

Siëndo is a name you’re going to hear a lot more in 2025. The Rotterdam-based producer has been making moves with his high-energy sets and tracks built to get bodies moving. His latest single, Dance With Me, nails the balance between simplicity and impact, with tight vocals and grooves that feel ready for any dancefloor. It’s a clear departure from his earlier, more commercial sound, showing his focus on creating music that DJs and dancers alike can’t resist.

What sets Siëndo apart is his instinct for connecting with people. Whether it’s through his packed bar gigs near home or his viral TikToks like When Your Roommate Is a DJ, he’s building a loyal following that loves his infectious energy. Add in influences like James Hype and FISHER, plus his drive to see his tracks hit major festivals, and it’s clear Siëndo is gearing up for a big year ahead.

Night Breeze

Night Breeze really did some work in 2024, releasing music on some of the most well-respected labels in the meldoic and organic house, including Where The Heart Is and Blue Magenta. With a handful of releases already locked in for the front half of 2025 and even more things all coming together in Southern California’s notoriously popping club scene, Night Breeze has all the ingredients to have a highly successful 2025

CHYL

If you’re not familiar with speed house, then I’d suggest you start paying attention.

CHYL’s star has been on the rise for the past few years now, and is almost certainly going to be one of the most exciting acts to follow in 2025. Known for her energetic production style and her racer-styled branding, she’s been playing sold-out shows on both sides of the United States, and has found a cult-like fanbase of “PRGs,” AKA Pretty Race Girls – which just happens to be the title of one of her most popular tracks at the moment. CHYL’s high-octane rise has been incredible to watch so far, and she’s only going to go faster next year.

Waxman

Waxman has been on my radar for years now, as it seems that all of my favorite artists are supporting his music in their mixes and his quality productions live up to all of the hype that is continually building around him. With a softer and vocal-driven approach to making music, he tracks always seem to stay with you long after you’ve rinsed through them. And while this timeless quality rarely leads to a viral moment and a fast-acting catapult to stardom, it does, brick by brick, built towards a lasting and meaningful career in this industry.

The fact that every single year his profile grows and his chops in the studio get better and better, I honestly feel like 2025 is going to be a defining moment for Waxman’s career.

Artic White

Artic White is another producer who has been slowly chipping away at stardom for years before he came across our editorial desk. And while he certainly is in the early days of his career, his wizardry in the studio is already starting to catch fire (and the ears of some of the biggest names in the scene). Having collaborated and worked directly in the studio with artists like Lost Desert and having some of his most successful releases top the charts after his signing with David Hohme’s Where The Heart Is Records, he has certainly set himself up for success as we look towards 2025.

He also recently put out a fantastic sample pack on Zenheiser, which is packed with incredibly punchy samples for any of the producers out there.

Xavi del Mundo

Xavi del Mundo is ready to make 2025 his breakout year. His track “Watch Me (Do My Thing)” started as a TikTok hit with its Latin Cowbell House twist, but it’s now a club and festival staple that’s turning heads across the scene. After reaching the semifinals of Spinnin’s World’s Biggest Demo Drop, Xavi locked in a deal with Storm Music Group, releasing his debut under the label on November 17th. With its rolling bassline, sharp percussion, and an irresistible rhythm, this track proves he’s not just riding the wave—he’s driving it.

What sets Xavi apart is his foundation. From honing his craft at ArtEZ Conservatory to making waves in competitions like Kunstbende and DJ MAG, he’s putting in the work to back his rise. Add in the support of a powerhouse label like Storm Music Group, and it’s clear Xavi del Mundo isn’t just here for the moment—he’s here to stay.

Andrew Long

What is it about Denver and housing some of the most exciting up-and-coming melodic house acts?

Andrew Long’s journey started in 2023, and he saw what can only be described as a full-on breakout in 2024. His track “Where We Left Off” turned into a smashing hit, with support from some of the biggest playlists on Spotify. He’s started to gain notoriety as a live performer, and has been participating in several showcase events hosted by Denver Progressive House, with a show scheduled for January 10th. He also just made his Colorize debut a few weeks ago. Andrew Long appears to be going full steam ahead into 2025, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.

Mundos Sutis

You may remember this duo from their remix of ÜNAM & Mutul’s “Cosmic Glue” released on our label a few weeks back. It’s constantly been on repeat for us since we first heard it, and since then, we’ve been huge fans of Mundos Sutis.

The duo is known for their deep, percussive house, as well as their hybrid live performances. They’re playing a few shows in Thailand to end off 2024, and we cannot wait to see where 2025 takes them. Their music is, quite simply, addictive, and we can’t wait to hear more from them.

Dave Leck

Dave Leck is quite the prolific producer who has put out a ton of music, and I’m pinching myself for only having stumbled across him this year when I had the chance to get an early review of his 2024 album which dropped. His music really does have that timeless quality that so many producers aim for but few actually can achieve. It’s progressive house that actually has soul and tells a meaningful story, and he is a rare breed of artist in today’s industry.

With a number of releases already slated for release this year and a ton more in the pipeline, if you take away anything else from reading this article, it’s to not be like me. Do NOT sleep on this guy as I know you will be pinching yourself this time next year if you wait that long to dig into his rich and masterclass-level productions.

Convexity

When thinking about the current state of dubstep, it feels like there are very few artists right now who can really break out from the mold and create their own style that nobody else is able to replicate. Convexity is one of those artists.

Their style is a nostalgic yet forward-thinking blend of color bass, jazz, and funk, and it’s some of the most impressive and unique music to be heard in the bass music scene right now. They just released their “Transmissions” EP on Disciple Recordings, and it’s a truly one-of-a-kind record. It’s not often you find an artist like this who can hone in on a specific sound and feel in every track they release, and yet, Convexity does it with ease. Keep an eye on them next year.

Jack Willard

When Jack Willard’s “Big Sky” came out at the end of 2023, we all knew that we had found someone special.

The Boston-based producer and guitarist quickly turned into one of Colorize’s hottest new talents, releasing several EPs that showcased not just his technical skill, but his impeccable songwriting and sound design ability, as well. His gorgeous synth work and piano chords helped him become a favorite on SiriusXM Chill, and is undoubtedly gearing up for yet another great year in 2025.

SEIZMIC

SEIZMIC have been on our radars for most of the year, as they were one of the first acts we had on our label.

The UK-based duo’s energetic progressive house style has brought them acclaim as of late. They’ve recently been hosting their Aftershock Radio series and performing live all around the UK, and also just put out a remix for Entel last month after he remixed their Magnetic Magazine Recordings release, “Better Days.” They’ve got a lot of music lined up to release in 2025, and we can’t wait to see what they do next year.

rshand

New York-based producer and DJ rshand has been putting in the work for years now, and it’s been paying off.

The melodic house producer has been releasing consistently since late 2022, and his work ethic has led to him becoming one of the most exciting American melodic house stars of the past few years. This past year, he signed with Monstercat Silk, and his track “Erased” was featured in Rocket League and went gold on SiriusXM Chill. He’s also been playing shows in New York and recently made his Boston debut to a sold-out crowd. He’s got a lot of momentum heading into 2025, and he has no sign of stopping.

splitter

There is an extremely exciting wave of young bass music producers on the come-up right now, and UK-based splitter is one of the best.

At the young age of 17, splitter produces like they’ve been in the game for decades. Their sound is fairly hard to describe: it’s all at once gritty, clean, dirty, and bright, with an expert coalescence of heavy and melodic and an ability to traverse several genres, from dubstep to electro house. 2024 saw the release of their “FULL FLAVOUR” EP on Circus Records, as well as several other singles that each carry different flavors of that signature sound that I mentioned earlier. The future is so unbelievably bright for splitter, and 2025 should be a huge year for them.

Traumhouse

Traumhouse’s “Sperare” was a standout release for our label in 2024, and for good reason.

The German producer’s innate ability to take his feelings directly from his heart to the DAW led to a very strong 2024, with releases on Amulanga, Worlds Apart, and, of course, Magnetic Magazine Recordings. His bass work is among the best in all of the organic house scene, and he only grows stronger and stronger with every release. We’re definitely looking forward to see just how he brings this momentum into 2025, because there’s a lot to be excited about.

KERO

KERO’s been making stellar color bass for a few years now, but in 2024, he unveiled what may be his greatest strength: his versatility.

His bright, almost-jazzy take on color bass is still phenomenal, don’t get me wrong. But, near the end of the year, he unveiled his “pushthesound” EP released on Circus Electric, and it’s undoubtedly his best work yet. It’s at the same time complex and simple, with some of the cleanest production I’ve heard on a bass music release across several genres in quite some time, and is only a sign of just what may be to come for the young producer. He also threw a free show in LA to celebrate the EP’s release, something I’d like to see a lot more artists start doing. If this is how he ended his 2024, then you’ve got to wonder just what he’s going to do next year.

Elliot Vast

Elliot Vast came almost out of nowhere last year, and are now one of the most exciting duos in the melodic house sphere.

2024 saw them popping up all over the place. They released a collaboration with OCULA on This Never Happened, provided vocals for artists like Angara and Dokho, and even remixed Nero’s “Talking to God” and opened for them, as well. They also released their first solo productions this year on Colorize, Monstercat Silk, and Rewoven, and they made one thing very clear: they can do it all. From providing some of the best toplines of the year to producing some of the cleanest, grooviest melodic house of the year, it’s hard to deny that they’re on a one-way road to stardom.

Devath

Devath is another member of the new wave of young bass music producers I mentioned earlier, and he’s been criminally underrated for too long.

What sets apart Devath from everybody else is his mastery of groove and rhythm. Sure, his sound design and mixing are top notch, but there’s something special about just how well his music flows. 2024 saw him release a handful of singles, with each one carrying its own distinct aura, be it heavy or melodic, and keeping the same extremely high bar of quality. He’s definitely one of the most interesting dubstep producers in the game right now, and I’m looking forward to seeing what he’ll do next year.

Kazko

Kazko was one of the last artists to release on Magnetic Magazine Recordings this year, and definitely helped us finish out the year strong.

The Sri Lankan DJ and producer had a prolific 2024, with releases on Mango Alley and Enormous Moments, among others. His unique blend of tech, progressive, and melodic house is definitely a unique one, and he’s able to produce each style with ease. We’re so glad to have him aboard the label, and if his 2024 was any indication, then he’s on track for an even bigger year next year.

Etza

Etza’s atmospheric take on melodic house has made him a name to consistently monitor the past few years.

While he only put out a few releases in 2024, he really emphasized quality over quantity, as all of his tracks from this year are crystal clear in terms of its production. It’s all perfectly showcased in his track “Brisa” released on Rewoven: beautiful ambiance, deep percussion, and enticing melodies have all become a calling card of his. 2024 was absolutely his strongest year yet, and it’s going to be exciting to see what’s next for him.

Duce

Duce experienced what can only be described as a breakout year this year.

The track “Kendall Park” started it all, and he refused to take his foot off the gas for the rest of the year. Subsequent releases only highlighted his beautiful songwriting and soft synth work more, and he very quickly became a cornerstone of the Setting Sail Records artist roster. His several collaborations with South African singer/songwriter Courtney Storm may just be some of the most beautiful chill house tracks released all year, period. And, something tells me this year was just the start: I feel like we’ll be hearing a lot from Duce in the coming months and years.

Nullboy

If Aphex Twin is playing out music from an underground bass music producer, then you should probably keep an eye on them.

This happened to Nullboy back in 2023, and he’s been on the edge of a breakout ever since. It’s clear to see why: the Indiana-based producer has created a unique, metallic, and almost-futuristic sound that’s addictive to listen to. His branding is also phenomenal, taking inspiration from 90s video game aesthetics that fit his heavy style like a glove. You just won’t hear anything like what Nullboy is doing anywhere else, and I’ve got a feeling he’s going to have a massive 2025.

Rowland Giles

And now, here’s another rising melodic house talent from Denver.

Rowland Giles began releasing this year, with his real breakout coming with “Time Flies By,” a track that showcases his skills both as a singer as well as a producer. His pedigree as a musician is impressive: he’s a former pop and rock songwriter, keyboardist, and vocalist who’s opened for artists like Bon Iver and John Legend. Knowing that he’s been around music for this long and that he’s got some serious skill in his back pocket, it’s obvious that he will be taking his project to new heights in 2025.

NIRE

2024 saw NIRE reach new heights that he’s been deserving of for quite some time.

A collaboration with Ace Aura released on Monstercat, an EP on Disciple Round Table, and a remix for Code:Pandorum were just a few of the achievements the young bass music producer added to his resume this year. He’s honed his style into a satisfying cacophony of metallic basses and crisp production, and it’s clear that others are catching on. NIRE’s got a lot to bring to the table, and he’s poised for a breakout in 2025.

mölly

mölly debuted this year, and has already become well known in the melodic house scene for her beautiful music all inspired by music’s ability to heal.

The San Francisco-based producer, DJ, and yoga teacher released 3 two-track EPs on Colorize this year, each one glimmering with bright melodies and atmospheres. She also performed at quite a few Colorize events across the globe this year, and is certainly poised to bring this upward trajectory into 2025. There’s something uplifting about her music that comes out just a little bit more with each track, and she’s certainly a special artist worth monitoring in the months ahead.

Neddie

It feels like artists often rush into their debut albums. Neddie’s has been a long time coming.

The color bass producer has been gaining notoriety for a few years now, releasing three EPs in 2024, and is now preparing to release their debut album “Passerby” in January. The most impressive thing about Neddie is their consistency: they release a TON of music every year, and all of it is at a high level of quality featuring satisfying synthwork and beautiful chords and melodies. I’m definitely looking forward to this album, as well as subsequent projects from Neddie.

Feathervane

The Texas-based producer’s melodic house work has been his calling card for a few years now, but it seems like he will be switching things up in 2025.

Feathervane’s chillout style was what got him on the scene in the first place, and in a recent social media announcement, he teased a return to that meditative, chilled style. His 2024 saw him refine his production ability, culminating in his biggest hit yet, “Walk on Water.” It’ll be interesting to see how he’s able to take his new production skillset and apply it to a more chilled-out style of electronic music. One thing is for sure: he is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Dias Ridge

Dias Ridge has come a long way since his debut in 2023.

He’s still only got a few releases to his name, but each one gets better and better. His most recent record, “End To Begin,” is undoubtedly his best work yet. Masterful piano chords, gentle synths, and deep percussions have become signature sounds of Dias Ridge, and it’s clear that he has a very bright future in the melodic house sphere. He’s on quite the trajectory right now, and should have another great year in 2025.

Blugazer

It feels almost silly to put an artist who has been active since 2010 on here, but considering just how much his style has changed since then, Blugazer is 100% worthy of being on this list.

Lately, Blugazer’s output has been dreamy, hypnotic, and luscious chill house and downtempo. He released at a prolific pace this year, with releases on Enhanced Chill, Chill That!, Rewoven, and several self releases. He’s also been keeping up with his “Illusionary Images” mix series on a very consistent basis, and shows no sign of stopping. If you’re interested in learning more about him and his music, check out his “How It Was Made” article we put out in April.

dwelyr

Recently, Denver-based progressive trance producer Hausman decided to split his sound between two aliases, and dwelyr is the new home for his melodic deep house productions.

His first full year as dwelyr saw the release of a successful A/B record on Sekora and two releases on Colorize, and there is definitely reason to be excited for 2025. He’s proven his production ability several times over across both of his aliases, and performs live frequently in the Denver area. To assume that he doesn’t have a lot in store for 2025 would be foolish.
