Back for its 14th installment of Texas’ Biggest New Years Bash, Disco Presents Lights All Night rings in the New Year with a star-studded lineup. Looking to sell out for the 5th consecutive year Disco Donnie does not disappoint. Located at Dallas’ Market Hall this coming up weekend, LAN is an immersive experience that merges music, art, and technology. Curating events for over 30 years Disco Presents only seems to elevate each and every year.

With such an immensely talented group of artists on this year’s lineup, narrowing down just five for an artist preview was a difficult task indeed. Encompassing four different styles of stages, two days’ worth of music, and over sixty artists to choose from, Disco Presents made it damn near impossible. But I did my best to find you five sick must-see artists from this year’s 2024 lineup. Let’s dive into it!

By Day Line-Up

Barclay Crenshaw

Barclay Crenshaw

First up on the list is none other than the OG himself, Barclay Crenshaw. Wrapping up a huge 2024 tour, there is almost no music festival this year that this man didn’t play. Shambala, Elements, Wakaan, Secret Dreams—you name it, so it makes perfect sense to close out the year with Texas’ biggest New Year’s event, Lights All Night. Slated to play Saturday at 8:15 on the Metroplex stage, Crenshaw will no doubt bring the heat with his hip-hop infused, futuristic style of heavy bass.

His most recent release, “Goodbye My Friends,” featuring Jasper Crenshaw, is a smooth and spacey melodic banger. Easygoing electric feels ooze through the track, while, on the flip side, one of his other most recent drops, “Tiramisu,” is a grimy, guttery bass rattler. That is the beauty of Mr. Crenshaw; his diverse flavor profile will have your jaw on the floor begging for more by the end of his set. A Barclay set is most definitely a journey, so be prepared to embark on his conquest.

Mary Droppinz

Mary Droppinz

Next up on the hit list is truly a hidden gem in the LAN lineup, Mary Droppinz. Starting as a house DJ and slowly blurring the lines lately with a dash of wub, this LA woman is a must-see. Having a great 2024 with her Drop In tour and supporting the likes of Zeds Dead and Tape B along the way, Droppinz is clearly on the rise. Playing festivals like Shambala, Bass Canyon, EDC, and Breakaway Fest, she is set to bring the heat to the Lonestar Stage Sunday at 8:30.

Coming off huge drops like Bass Bitch and Yummy Gummy recently, you’ll see many other artists adorning her Bass Bitch t-shirt via social media. She is also set to support Zeds Dead twice this coming year with their Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness tour. Although I am quite distraught that her and Tape B play at the same exact time on Sunday, either choice will be fantastic.

Max Styler

Max Styler

Let’s go to the disco, Bish! It’s time to boogie! Nobody does Tech-House like my man Max Styler. This Southern California native will have your heart pumping and feet moving as soon as he graces you with his presence. Concluding a great 2024 with epic sets at this year’s Burning Man festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Seismic Dance Event. It makes perfect sense for Max to command the stage at this year’s Disco Rodeo. Set to play late Sunday night around 10 o’clock, I will be firmly stuck in place for 2 hours straight because immediately following Max Styler is my boy Layton Giordani.

With just a 4-day break after LAN, Max will embark on the MAX STYLER tour 2025. Starting January 3rd and going until early April, Max will be bumping his way across the United States, parts of Canada, and a few early dates in Mexico/Central America. Released only a few hours ago I highly suggest you take a listen to his Seismic set on Soundcloud and get your butt to the disco rodeo!

Layton Giordani

Layton Giordani

Following my man Max Styler on the Disco Rodeo stage is Layton Giordani. This techno mastermind brings that East Coast feel with his New York-style dance beats. Heart-thumping deep house vibes ring through the speakers on his most recent tracks like “Lets go Dancing”. Ending his Layton Giordani 2024 North American tour with LAN, I assure you he will not disappoint! Playing enormous sets all over the world, this year’s New Year Bash is going to be off the chain.

Dropping huge bangers like “Girls” and “Loofy” Giordani is definitely making huge waves within the dance scene. Playing a ghastly 2 hour set in Argentina at La Estacion this year this man is putting in the work. So grab your dance shoes and meet me at the Rodeo because its time to Go Dancing!

Tape B

Tape B

Lastly, but surely not least, is Mr. Tape B. Florida’s own MEGA Bass producer is closing out a phenomenal 2024 year. There is no doubt in my mind you’ve heard one of his remixes within somebody else’s mix this year. Whether it’s his Levity remix of Flip or his Mac Miller Loud, there is no avoiding Tape B in the year of 2024. Dropping Drip Tapes Vol. 5, Vibe Check Vol. 2, and just a few weeks ago, his latest Distortion Theory EP, this man is all over the map. If you’re into deep, raspy hip hop-infused bass lines, then you CAN NOT MISS this year’s Tape B set at LAN.

Playing enormous sets at Lost Lands, Wakaan, Deep Tropics, North Coast, etc. Tape B has to be the hardest-working man on this year’s lineup (with all due respect). Putting out an insane amount of music, this man is not slowing down anytime soon. Already hinting that 2025 will be a year more focused on music production than touring, I highly recommend you slide on over to the Metroplex stage and check out a Tape B set; I know I’ll be there!
