Armin van Buuren has announced a new mini-album entitled Old Skool. The collection aims to serve as a one-off dedication to the legendary trance DJ’s early inspirations. The project, which was announced via Instagram and his popular A State of Trance radio show, will reimagine some of dance music’s classics for 2016.

His first release off the album is a reinvention of Human Resource’s oft-sampled 1991 hit “Dominator.” The Dutch artist contacted each of the original master rightsholders before releasing the track — a testament to his commitment to honor those who came before him with this project.
