BBC Radio 1 DJ and trade tastemaker Annie Mac has been awarded the title of Festival Ambassador of Malta.
For over 4 years Mac’s Lost & Found Festival has introduced 1000's of party-goers to Malta on an annual foundation, in flip supporting the island’s native economic system.
She was offered along with her new title by Minister for Tourism Dr Konrad Mizzi within the presence of the Head of Events Lionel Gerada. The award was described by Gerada as, “illustration of how pageant tourism has grown over the previous few years,” whereas Dr Mizzi praised Mac for her “steady promotion of the Maltese islands.”
The likes of Four Tet, Jamie XX, Denis Sulta, Disclosure, Stefflon Don and Jamie Jones have carried out on the pageant over time, with Lost & Found’s 2019 version set to happen May 2-5.
AJ Tracey, Artwork, Horse Meat Disco, Eclair Fifi b2b Big Miz, Flava D, Peggy Gou, Saoirse, Jubilee, Skream and plenty of extra have been confirmed for the fifth birthday version.
