Resting stylistically between ‘We Are’, ‘Heart Of Life’ and half dozen or so others from Mr. M.O.R.P.H.s Balearic oeuvre, ‘Summer Love Story’s a tonic in more ways than one.
Working with a floor-minded/mid-set tempo, through its hardy drums Alex begins another anthem-baiting build-out. Temperately inclined bass, equatorially warm pad sweeps and positively thermal sub-melodies follow, balancing the track’s evocative lament with heartening elevation. Maintaining its equilibrium right the way through to break’s-end, he pulls f a brilliantly orchestrated conclusion that’ll see less pleasant wintery images banished!
