Australia’s EMC announces 2019 conference details

Returning for its 8th edition, the annual Electronic Music Conference (EMC) is back in Sydney, Australia this November.

It involves a number of workshops, keynotes, interactive sessions and ‘In Conversations’ with pioneers of the electronic music scene.

This year's conference focuses on the theme of ‘The Next Now’. This explores the challenges and concerns for future years by tackling issues such as: mental health support, out-of-date business models, preparing for the next wave of changes within the industry and sustainability for artists and individuals.

Speakers that have been announced include Shesaid.so Founder Andreea Magdalina, Warner Music Chief Innovation Officer Scott Cohen and Mixmag China CEO Donald Hau. For the full list of announced speakers, head here.

The event will be hosted at UTS in Ultimo, Sydney on Wednesday 13 November and Thursday 14 November. For more information on the and tickets visit the EMC site.
