Skepta is ready to be awarded the 2019 Inspiration award by the Music Producers Guild.
The award is given to artists who has made a physique of labor that has impressed different artists. His 2016 album 'Konnichiwa' gained the Mercury Prize in 2016 and the MC has gained two MOBO awards for 'That's Not Me' and 'Shutdown'.
The Director of the Music Producers Guild mentioned: “Skepta has been on the forefront of the grime scene for a while, his affect now crosses genres and is felt not solely in music however within the artwork and trend worlds too.
"Now seems like the proper time to acknowledge his achievements and we're thrilled to be presenting him with this prestigious Award.”
Damon Albarn and Nile Rodgers have beforehand gained the Inspiration award.
