Iconic Detroit producer Moodymann, also called Kenny Dixon Jr., was arrested on Wednesday for supposedly breaking and coming into on his personal property. He shared his video footage of the arrest on his Instagram, that confirmed police aggressively shouting with assault rifles pointed at him. Now the Highland Park police have launched an announcement together with police physique cam footage revealing their perspective of the incident.

When Moodymann posted his video, which has since been deleted, it sparked public outrage. The video reveals Moodymann in a parked automobile apparently surrounded by what is claimed to be 9 officers with AR-15-style rifles pointed on the artist yelling at him to get out of the automobile. Today new data has surfaced, together with that Moodymann was carrying a handgun, which he has a CPL license for, though he supposedly didn't declare this to officers.

Highland Park police obtained a wave of questions from media following the incident, which prompted them to launch a statement and maintain a press convention. The assertion reads:

"On Saturday whereas conducting a proactive patrol relating to potential unlawful scraping [sic] HPPD officers encountered Mr. Dixon. During the encounter, Mr. Dixon didn't produce private ID nor proof of possession of the property and was subsequently arrested and conveyed to HPPD. Further investigation confirmed possession and Mr. Dixon was launched and issued a number of citations relating to this incident. Mr. Dixon has since met with HPPD and this matter was resolved to the satisfaction of Mr. Dixon."
