NYC based singer/songwriter/producer Luca Chesney holds a dreamy persona, with the most intoxicating vocals. Luca’s musical pursuits were ignited at the young age of 11, when she heard Joan Osborne’s “What if God Was One of Us” for the first time. We know very few personal details about the singer, as she likes to keep her personal life private, and prefers shifting people’s attention to her artwork that she values the most. Since the release of her eponymous EP last year, Chesney had been working on a new collection  titled “Mother Electric,” which was released on July 13. The new EP features seven songs where Luca is seen embracing a contemporary style of production. The first single called “Revolver,” embraces the human experience, the interior journey, the evolution, and the life and death cycle. Another great hit is Chesney’s unique take on “Forever Young,” an ambitious fresh take on Alphaville’s original 1984 song.

In the past, the singer had mentioned that all of her songs begin in her dreams. This makes each track an original work of art, perfectly designed to fit Chesney’s personal life experiences. She had also mentioned that she is inspired by Bjork and Thom Yorke’s work, and aspires to walk in their successful footsteps.
