Festival season is fast approaching, and Europe is already reigning supreme with lineup after lineup. The Dutch brand Awakenings is leading Techno with this year’s lineup for Awakenings Festival July 10-12. Last month, they had already released their lineup for Awakenings Upclose, a more intimate, two-day experience. The lineup reflects the journey that Techno has taken in the last year. It also brings up the most influential sound designers and tastemakers in the world. Furthermore, the festival also features a few popular House DJs.

From Melodic, Bouncy, Hard, Psy, Hypnotic, Minimal, Hard Groove, Acid, Dark, and more, Awakenings showcases contemporary and classic beats that get ahold of the dancefloor each time. Each year, the festival gathers musically educated fans and unleashes top-notch production. This year is no different. From the massive names such as 999999999 and Adam Beyer, to hidden gems such as Samoh and Rene Wise, industry leaders and rising stars will take over Hilvarenbeek. The festival location sits within the border with Belgium.
Standout names include Label leaders Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte, Anetha, Boris Brejcha, Dax J, Ben Klock, and more. Moreover, Drumcode has a heavy presence this year with representatives such as Mha Iri, Bart Skils, Joris Voorn, Kevin de Vries, Joyhauser, Chris Avantgarde, and Innellea.
Awakenings has a strong emphasis on Hypnotic, Raw Techno from the likes of Len Faki, Ignez, Yanamaste x Chlär, Rødhåd, Lacchesi, Freddy K, Richie Hawtin, Vladimir Dubyshkin, and SHDW. As the BPMs increase, so does our excitement for acts including I Hate Models, Adrian Mills, Elli Acula, Fatima Hajji, Nico Moreno, Future 666 x ÜBERKIKZ, Cloudy, Novah, Azyr, and Bad Boombox.
Nonetheless, the lineup also represents absolute melodies and divine joy. Major names include Miss Monique, Benja x Franc Fala, Adriatique, Mahmut Orhan x Shimza, and more.

Naturally, Awakenings gives us groove and rhythm with a stacked House lineup as well. Highlights include Josh Baker, East and Dubs x Vintage Culture, Adam Ten, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Wade, Gordo, Mau P, and Max Dean x Prospa.
