PS Plus has had an extremely mixed year. At times there have been good months, but at times we have seen really poor showings from the service. So, what will December hold?
This guide will tell you everything you need to know, including the games leaving the service this month. You can also find out when both the Essential and Extra/Premium tiers will be unveiled.
PS Plus December 2024 games
The PS Plus December 2024 games will be announced on November 27, 2024, for the Essential tier. These games are playable from December 3, 2024. The Extra and Premium games will be announced on December 11, 2024, and made available on December 17, 2024.
While we don’t know the lineup yet, that doesn’t stop us from guessing. Here are our predictions for the month.
‘Resident Evil Village’ – PS5, PS4
Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.
‘Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’ – PS5, PS4
Fire up a wild ride across the cosmos with a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. In this third-person action-adventure game, you are Star-Lord and thanks to your bold yet questionable leadership, you have persuaded an oddball crew of unlikely heroes to join you.
Some jerk (surely not you) has set off a chain of catastrophic events and only you can hold the unpredictable Guardians together long enough to fight off total interplanetary meltdown. Use Element Blasters, tag-team beat downs, jet boot-powered dropkicks and whatever else you can get your grubby mitts on – nothing’s off-limits.
‘War Hospital’ – PS5, PS4
The year is 1918. You are major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic, drafted back to take charge of a field hospital in the nightmare of World War One. Understaffed and undersupplied, the hospital is the last bastion of hope for countless soldiers on the Western Front.
Your main aims are to keep up your team’s morale and support the war effort with the soldiers you have treated. To do so, you need to manage your hospital to take charge of the flood of injured soldiers brought in after every battle. Make sure to admit the patients in order of priority before treating them, scheduling surgery, or abandoning them to their fate…
