III Points weekend is finally here, and per usual, this Miami music festival is delivering an extremely diverse and talented lineup of artists from across the globe. We had the pleasure of chatting with five must-see artists on this year’s lineup: Disco Lines, Malóne, Jubilee, Bakke, and Troy Kurtz. Check out what they had to say about III Points’ lineup, their upcoming set this weekend, and more below!

III Points is known for its expansive and versatile lineup. How does it feel to be part of a festival that brings together such a wide range of genres and artists?

Disco Lines: It’s really exciting to be included with these artists, a lot of whom I’m a big fan of. III Points is a tastemaker festival and I’m glad to be a small part of it.

Malóne: It is one of my favorite festivals to play in the entire world. Besides it being in Miami and representing Miami in such an amazing way, the vibe of the festival itself is unmatched. The diversity of all the artists is so cool, but more importantly how much local talent is displayed in all kinds of genres and lanes of music is what makes it even more special for me.

Jubilee: The lineup is incredible every year. I feel the III Points and Club Space team truly puts love into it, and it shows. I saw a graph showing how many big artists from larger agencies III Points books, and it is about 25%.

Most American festivals are just one or two agencies’ rosters, and because of that, it is the same lineup over and over—lazy and boring at this point. Imagine curating something with thought and like-minded people. It also features a huge number of local acts, who are some of the best on the lineup, and I love that.

Bakke: It’s a huge honor to be part of such a tastefully curated lineup. It’s special to be included with so many bands and artists I’ve admired for years, as well as talented homies that represent the city so well! This will be my 10th III Points festival, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorites year after year.

Troy Kurtz: The diversity of the lineup always makes me proud to be included. I’ve been hyped about this band Bar Italia, and I’m finally going to see them at the festival. You’ve got pioneers like Juan Atkins and DJ Shadow next to insane DJs like Ben UFO.

I’m also excited to catch Aurora Halal and Yu Su for the first time. David Sinopoli and the III Points team do an incredible job giving Miami’s local talent a platform. Jonny From Space is doing a live set, and his debut album has been one of my favorites this year.

How do you approach preparing a set for a festival like III Points that runs long hours and attracts such a diverse audience?

Disco Lines: I look at what is working around the scene in Miami, what fans are asking for online, and mostly what I have been liking. Combining these elements, I try to put together a set that feels cohesive, current, and in line with what people are feeling.

Malóne: This year, I will be playing b2b with Miluhska, who in my opinion is one of the most incredibly up-and-coming talents from Miami in our scene. Finding a balance of both our styles and making it work will be the beauty of it. Most importantly, keeping it Miami, keeping it original, sexy, and true to ourselves, and feeding off the crowd will be the vibe.

Jubilee: I was raised in South Florida and have lived in NYC for a long time, so I’ve been a late-night person my entire life. Miami always closes at 5 AM (if they close), and NYC at 4 AM, so that part is second nature to me. I feel like I belong in this situation. Both cities are also diverse, so no extra preparation is needed for these types of crowds. If I’m going to thrive anywhere, it’s III Points. It’s the perfect Venn diagram of where I feel comfortable.

Bakke: While I have a systematic approach to preparing all my sets, I like to spend time brainstorming for shorter festival sets like this one. I won’t have a set playlist, but I’ll organize the music by mood and intensity. From there, I’ll gauge the crowd and feel out the energy needed to create a warm, euphoric dancefloor. Every track is carefully selected to ensure maximum vibes.

Troy Kurtz: The weekend can feel like a marathon, but I’ve been training all summer for this one. I stay true to my sound—a blend of genres and influences—while matching the energy on the floor to keep bodies moving.

Many acts at III Points come from different backgrounds and parts of the world. How will you bring your unique sound and cultural background to a Miami stage?

Malóne: We will be playing a lot of our own original music. A lot of drums, percussion, grooves, and capturing vocals is an amazing formula for any set, but specifically for an electronic stage in a Miami festival.

Jubilee: I was born in Miami, so “maybe she’s born with it.”

Bakke: I love surprising listeners with a broad spectrum of music that doesn’t fit into usual categories. I take every set with an outside-the-box mentality. Whether it’s your first time hearing me or you regularly catch me on the terrace, you’ll experience a nostalgic journey through various influences that shaped my sound. Modern tracks that feel like they’re from another era, and long-forgotten gems that sound like they could’ve been released today. Connecting with people from all backgrounds is what makes those moments on the dancefloor magic.

Troy Kurtz: I’ve spent most of my adolescence playing parties in Miami, so I feel confident leaning into my style at III Points. The beauty of the lineup is its broad range of artists and genres each night, and I keep that in mind while curating tracks for my set.

This festival offers an immersive experience with its multi-stage setup. What are you most looking forward to about your performance at III Points, and which stage are you playing on?

Disco Lines: I’m playing on the RC Cola (R C 9 5) stage from 9:30 to 10:30 PM on Saturday. I’m just excited to be there, I’ve heard and seen such great things about this festival.

Malóne: We are playing at the ISOTROPIC stage from 8:30 to 10:00 PM on Friday, which is one of the best stages at the entire festival. Everyone that goes to the ISOTROPIC stage loves house and electronic music. We have 1.5 hours to select our best tracks, along with the music and sound we want to share with the crowd. I am very excited for this set; it is going to be an absolute vibe!

Jubilee: I’m on the S3QUENC3 stage, which is my favorite stage, from 8:30 to 10:00 PM on Saturday. It’s probably my favorite stage of any festival, to be honest. When I found out I was playing again this year, the first thing I said was, “Please tell me it’s the Sequence stage.” I’m looking forward to playing for one of my favorite crowds in one of my favorite cities. I’m grateful for another year here, and it’s been great to see Miami’s music scene flourish over the years.

Bakke: I’m excited to experience another stage at III Points this year. I’ll be performing at the Players Club on Saturday night from 1:00 to 2:30 AM with my longtime bud Troy Kurtz. This is a more intimate stage, so we have more freedom to play beyond the usual peak-time bangers and get funky and weird with it, which I love! Not only that, we’ll be playing right after an insane Justice show next door on the Main Frame, so anyone on that vibe is in for a nice treat.

Troy Kurtz: I’m looking forward to linking up with Bakke for our b2b set. We’ve both DJed in Miami for over a decade, but this is surprisingly our first set together. We’ll be at the Players Club alongside some great Miami-based artists.

The night is stacked, but Taimur is a must-see. He runs one of the top record stores in Miami, T-Bag Records, and I always grab fresh records from him before touring because his taste is on point. The Sportswax crew plays just before us, and they’ve been running a killer underground label in the city for about six years. Earlier in the night, Ferny and Emma are teaming up, and their trippy sound will definitely take the crowd on a wild ride.

What is one track from your catalog that III Points attendees should check out before hitting your set, and why did you choose it?

Disco Lines: My remix of “Bands” by Shoreline Mafia. I think it would resonate with the people of Miami.

Malóne: My most recent release that came out last week “Groove Con Clase” is an absolute must. It is one of my favorite records that I’ve ever written. It’s so Miami, so III Points, and I honestly cannot wait to play on that big stage. The reactions on this track all summer long have been amazing. I just got back from a 3-week tour in Europe including three Ibiza closing shows, and III Points will be the first time I play it in Miami since it has been released… I’M HYPED!

Jubilee: Jubilee and Burt Fox – “Keys Wallet Phone”. I feel like that song is Jubilee 101. If you like that song, you will love my DJ set at III Points.

Bakke: I have a few unreleased tracks that I may test out as well as loads of classics lined up. But if there’s one track I’d tell you to check out, it’s Masarima – “Freak Like U” (Mr. Ho Whip mix) because of its old-school mentality with a new-school edge. This Italian proto-house track touches on disco and new wave influences with the intensity of a perfectly balanced festival banger!

Troy Kurtz: I was dancing at a club here called Floyd a few weeks ago, and I heard Danny Daze drop my track “Acid Rain” during his set. I hadn’t heard this track on a club rig in a while, and I lost it hearing that one again.
