Techno fans who are in Berlin this weekend: you’re in for a treat. Berlin club Griessmüle is celebrating its 7-year anniversary by holding an 82-hour party. Prepare your britches.
The party runs from 10 p.m. Friday, May 18, to 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 22. A whopping 82 hours of non-stop live and techno DJ sets. Artists on the bill include Psyk, Unit Moebius, Ultradyne and more. The artists on the lineup have released with labels ranging from Tresor to Warp.
Think this party sounds record-breaking? Well, it kinda is. The Guinness World Record for longest party was set in in 2016 for a 56-hour party in Beirut. The Beirut club Nurai broke the record previously set in 2006 by an Irish party. It looks like Griessmüle organizers are not aiming to break the record, but the party will surely go down in history.
