As Americans begin to prepare for the 2020 ballot featuring a face-off between President Donald Trump and a number of other presidential candidates, one of the candidates has promised to roll out a new bill to ban cell phone use during live performances.
The Democratic-led state Senate passed legislation Thursday inspired by a number of recent events involving people not actually experiencing concerts and music festivals they attend. According to the bill, all cell phones will be banned from any live performance, club, or music festival.
If the measure passes there, it would head to the Governor of New York.
