On January 18, 2019, Netflix will launch Fyre - a documentary concerning the calamitous music pageant fail that grabbed the worlds consideration in 2017, Fyre Festival. Directed by Chris Smith, the documentarian behind Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond, the movie will give viewers a "first-hand look into the disastrous crash of Fyre as advised by the organizers themselves."

Back in October, Fyre Festival's primary pageant organizer and "serial fraudster" Billy McFarland was sentenced to 6 years in a federal penitentiary for a number of counts of fraud.

Netflix is just not the one streaming platform to select up on the story of this music pageant fiasco. In 2019, Hulu plans to launch a multi-episode documentary collection that's being produced by Billboard, Mic and The Cinemart. It options interviews with locals, distributors, traders and naturally the pageant attendees that had been left stranded in some of the outrageous festivals fails of all time.
