The 22a founder has made waves since minting the label with a split release alongside Al Dobson Jr. in 2013, building its reputation as a go-to outlet for music that’s warm and drenched in soul.
His own productions have been integral to the imprint’s success, with his multiple releases drawing praise from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Bradley Zero and Benji B. Last month he put out the 9-track album ‘The Shajedown’ in collaboration with the 22archestra.
