Porter Robinson's Virtual Self project is easily one of the most exciting aspects of dance music today. While many are familiar with Porter's older work, Virtual Self has breathed new life into genres which have gone widely under appreciated for several years. The Virtual Self project is much more than a simple moniker or alias. The project involves a complex story line complete with multiple characters. This past Friday we learned a little more about one of the main Virtual Self characters, Technic Angel.

‘Ghost Voices' was the undisputably the most successful Virtual Self release so far, now Porter has released the track reworked by Technic Angel and it is a showstopper. The six minute track really becomes something incredible in the final two minutes. Porter merges Drum and Bass with high energy trance aspects to create an otherwordly listening experience. The energy in this mix is palpable, and I really cannot wait to hear more from Virtual Self as 2018 pushes on.
