Philadelphia's own Electric Factory as now been acquired by Bowery Presents (which in turn was acquired by live entertainment giant AEG).

The venue has now been temporarily named “North Seventh” while a new name is decided crowd-sourcing.

The Electric Factory first opened in 1968 and it was reopened in 1995 where it sits currently by Larry Magid and Adam Spivak. They have owned the venue for the past 24 years.
