New York-based producer ShiShi broke onto the scene this past fall with his track “Aarti,” which paid homage to his Indian heritage; however, his latest release may be the next big thing.
He lived in the United States, Switzerland and China all before he was 10 years old, and that cultural mix influences can be heard in his remix “Moan” by VALNTN. From his innovative use strings to winds, ShiShi blends these more traditional instruments with the modernized sound electronic music to create an entirely new style. ShiShi not only has a vision to unite musical styles, but he also hopes to unite people across all cultures.
