Yep, you read that right: two of the most well-known international names in underground music – Innervisions and Life and Death – have teamed up to bring the innovative, explorative art and music event known as Rakastella back to Art Basel in Miami. Save the date now – it’ll be happening on December 8th of this year.
If you’re unfamiliar with Innervisions and Life and Death, here’s what you should know: DJ Tennis founded Life and Death, and Ame & Dixon are the driving co-forces behind the creation of Innervisions. This event will offer 14 hours of house and techno, moving from the sunlight to moonlight, on Miami’s Virginia Key shores.
The first of the Rakastella events – whose name means “to make love” – was held last year and brought a stunning lineup of artists and friends from both collectives, including DJ Koze, Âme II Âme, Mano Le Tough and Axel Boman to name a few. We have no doubt that this year’s event will be equally as magical, dancing into the sunset to some of the leading makers of house and techno music surrounded by art and endless creative minds.
