Helena Hauff is releasing a new album, 'Qualm', on August 3. The album will be released Ninja Tune, the same label that released Hauff’s 2013 debut.
The German DJ’s last release was her 2017 four-track EP, ‘Have You Been There, Have You Seen It’, but we haven’t had an album from Hauff since 2015’s ‘Discreet Desires’ (which we gave an impressive 8 out of 10 for at the time).
Known for her sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, techno and post-punk, this latest production is "unapologetically raw". Hauff described the process as "trying to create something powerful without using too many instruments and layers".
