Happy Tuesday everyone! EDM Sauce is happy to premiere this airy and spacious new single from Haulm titled, “Work For Us“. Previously released singles, “They Came Along” and “Settle” have reached over 1 Million+ streams on Spotify and Apple Music. The collaboration blends both individuals styles together in a seamless fashion and it is definitely a must listen to on this rainy day.
Haulm is a collaboration between vocalist/composer, JT Norton, and electronic producer, Reed Kackley (BAILE). The two met in 2012, playing in similar Brooklyn-based bands, but didn’t find themselves working together until 2017. What began with some casual vocal sessions meant for BAILE, quickly took on a shape its own: Haulm.
Their style meshes minimal electronic compositions, influenced by downtempo & techno, with honest and intimate vocals. Blending modular sounds with analog synthesizers & foley sfx, Norton & Kackley are writing music that fuses a sense sincerity together with a desire to create compelling dance grooves.
Their Debut EP is releasing on March 30th so make sure you keep your eyes open for the future release. If you are digging Haulm you can also catch them on Tour later this year in Brooklyn, 1/27 @ Elsewhere + 1/29 @ Baby's All Right.
